“He said in reply, ‘Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate’” (Matthew 19:4-6).
The Sacrament of Matrimony
Because every couple’s journey is unique, the first step is to contact the parish priest. He will guide you through the preparation process tailored to your specific circumstances.
While weddings are traditionally held on Saturdays, they may be scheduled for any day of the week except Sunday.
Due to our afternoon parish schedule, the latest available start time for a Saturday wedding is 12:00 PM.
While weddings may still be held during the season of Lent, please keep in mind that this is a penitential time in the Church, and celebrations are generally not recommended.
