Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are faithful parishioners who assist the priest celebrant in distributing Holy Communion at Mass when a large number of the faithful are to receive it. 

Men and women sixteen years or older, who have received the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) are eligible for this ministry. 

They are to be Catholics in good standing who sincerely try to live the Gospel message. 

hey are to participate regularly in the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist and the practice of their faith. 

They are to be registered members of the parish.
