Celebrate our Guardian Angels
October 02, 2026 beginning at 10:30am in the Parish side hall. Food will be potluck.
At approximately 11am, we will discuss the Scriptural basis and CCC teaching on Guardian Angels and then listen (approximately 10 minutes) to the Guardian Angel portion of “Angels Explained: What You Should Know About the Nine Choirs by Dr. Mark Miravalle” followed by praying the Chaplet of St. Michael (approximately 15 minutes). Discussion to follow.
The event will conclude prior to Mass beginning at 12:15pm

Pope Saint John Paul II. They’ll teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary.
In our weekly meetings, [9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/7 11am-noon and 10/1 5-6pm] we’ll watch a 30-minute video and share our insights in small groups.
The video by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, brings our individual reflections and group experience into a clear and live-able focus. If you’re looking for a simple way to be spiritually renewed, develop a deeper relationship with Our Merciful Savior, and grow in holiness.

When You Pray

Workbook and Book have the same cover! The Workbook is slightly bigger. They can be distinguished by the quantity of pages. They are on sale at Ascension Press for $28 as a set. They can also be purchased online used for as low as $7.
Discussion Group Sessions
Our discussion groups meet at 5:15-6:15pm in the Parish Side Hall.
Dates fall on the second and fourth Thursdays ending before 6:30pm Mass and Adoration.
We will use the questions presented in the workbook to guide our discussion.

The Saint Paul’s Men’s Group is an informal assembly of men (ages 20-80) that gets together usually twice a month on Saturday mornings (7:30am – 9:00am) from September through May/June in the Parish Hall. The group discussions are focused on exploring and learning about Catholic teaching in the Catechism and the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church. We discuss a variety of topics all related to Catholic dogma and doctrine. We don’t have any dues, take roll call, or require home study; good (free) coffee and pastries; come join us at any time to further deepen your understanding of our Catholic faith and enjoy the company of our dynamic group. Morning Prayer - Join us for communal Morning Prayers in our deSales Chapel beginning at 6:45am, Monday through Friday. We will use the wonderful Divine Office app that is available through your phone or tablet or at the http://www.divineoffice.org.
